The weather was challenging, but the job was completed on time and on budget. Very satisfied.

Barry has just completed my deck a few weeks ago. I'm very satisfied and happy with it. Barry, Jonny, and the crew did a fantastic job. The quality work is super and well done. They worked full time on the deck and did not leave your unfinished deck to go to another job. From the beginning to the end, Barry was always on top of the project. He helped to choose the color of the decking and the design of the deck. He answered all the questions truthful and never tried to sell you anything that you don't need. He show you things during the design that you can do now to have your deck lasts for a long time. Barry is honest, straight forward, and very easy to talk to if you get to know him.

I have 3 estimates from from 3 three companies before I picked Barry for my project. His price is reasonable and within my budget. Other companies wanted me to reduce my deck size or the quality of the decking or railing to fit my budget but with Barry I have my dream deck and a reasonable cost. Barry has a fantastic crew that works for him. Jonny the lead man is very good of what he is doing and he worked very hard. Jonny was at the job site 7 AM everyday and sometimes worked until 4 or 5 PM. Jonny and his crew never standing around or talking on the phone for a long period of time. They were always working.

Very recently, I had the pleasure of working with B and G Contracting LLC.

The floor boards of my 900 sq. ft. composite deck needed to be replaced. I hired my own contractor, we ordered the material, and on the day the project was to start, my contractor had to go out on a 3 month medical leave.Now I’m in a jam and need to find another contractor that would do the labor portion only. I contacted a few deck companies but they wouldn’t do the replacement for labor only. I understood, as they make money on materials more than labor.

To my surprise, Barry Gantz at B and G Contracting agreed to come out and take a look at my project. He agreed to do the work and gave me a very reasonable price for the labor using my materials. Day one, his crew arrived on time, led by foreman Johnny. They did an amazing job. We didn’t know until we started demo that the stringers for both sets of stairs had to be replaced. B & G went above and beyond to refabricate them with new lumber. There were some finishing touches they performed over and above what was originally included in the labor quote.

Johnny and Diego were there on time every day that weather permitted. They kept me informed often of any issues that came up. The work area was well organized and the clean up was immaculate. No errant screws or bits of material remained on site.

Barry and his team were professional, courteous, and respectful of my property. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs a deck installed or replaced.

Straightforward pricing, best value for the buck, top notch craftsmanship, responsive owner. We have enjoyed working with Barry since the very first day we met. He was on time, very informative, and unlike other vendors, he does not pressure you on anything, instead you're provided with realistic pricing on material and accurate estimate for project timeline. There're no surprises, no artificially marked up prices and deep "discounts", you get a detailed quote the very next day. This is very refreshing, since we got one vendor that spent two hours on presentation, boasted their company's reputation, and we still have not received any actual quotes til this day. I think to them, you either sign the contract on the spot, or you're not worth the time. It's different with B & G, everything felt so easy and sincere, and you can tell Barry has the experience and expertise. He worked with us on picking just the right design and material for our deck. We were going to choose a more expensive option for the rails, but he showed us the samples, and we realized we didn't need to spend more for the same material. So it's not about getting you to spend more, rather Barry helped us choose the right options. We really appreciated that. Regarding project timeline, the most time was spent waiting for permit approval, once that got done, the actual construction was quick. The crew arrived on time, and they kept the site clean every day. We were there for one of the three county inspections, and from what I heard from the officials, the materials used for our deck was super sturdy. This gives us the peace of mind for years to come. Communication wise, Barry was always responsive with text messaging and emailing. If you want an effortless construction experience, with great value, B & G Contracting is THE one.

Barry and his team were a pleasure to work with. They kept us informed, we always knew where we were in the process. Once the project started they were here every day until it got done. Nothing sat for days/weeks while they went on to other work. The quality of our deck is fantastic and we could not be more pleased. I would recommend B and G Contracting without reservation.

We have used this company twice. Once on our townhouse and then when we bought our new home, we hired B and G Contracting to put our Trex deck on. Very pleased with our service both times. They were efficient and communicated very well through the whole process. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!
